Special Delivery for CheeseWeb Newsletter Subscribers
Back at the beginning of the year, I told you we’re starting up a newsletter on CheeseWeb and since it’s been a couple of months, you may be wondering why you haven’t received any yet. Tomorrow, I’ll be sending out a “pre-newsletter-newsletter” with a freebie to thank you for your patience.
We have big plans for the newsletter and we want it to be really useful so it’s taken a bit longer than we originally planned. To give you an idea of what to expect, here’s what we have in the works:
Each month (or thereabouts) we plan to feature one travel destination. These destinations will be easily accessible from Belgium. We plan to split the newsletters between destinations IN Belgium and countries nearby or those having affordable flight options from Belgian airports. This means, if you save up your newsletters, you’ll have a nice little database of places you can travel to easily.
This absolutely does not mean if you aren’t located in Belgium, the newsletter isn’t for you. Our non-Belgium destinations will be primarily European, so they will come in handy when planning your European travels.
I hope to offer background about each destination, sights to visit, fantastic restaurants and great places to stay. As always, I’ll include lots of photos and everything will be personally recommended by us. If we didn’t try it ourselves, it won’t be listed, so do be sure to send your recommendations our way.
I also will include little tidbits of news that don’t make a full post here on CheeseWeb. I’ll be sending updates on our travels, interesting links to travel and expat related websites and special deals for our subscribers.
That brings me to our very first freebee! The kind people at the Martin's Patershof Hotel were so pleased with our review last month, they wanted to offer CheeseWeb readers a little treat. We’ll be sending this deal out in the newsletter tomorrow so do make sure you’re subscribed. Because the newsletter is still a work in progress, I’d love to hear what you would like to read in it. Are there locations in Belgium and Europe we should visit and write about? Do you prefer Belgian or European destinations (so we get the balance right)? What details would you like to see included? This newsletter is for you so don’t be afraid to have your say!
