CheeseWeb Escapes to Antwerp May 24, 2011 10:58 am Antwerp Central Train Station Last week, right before heading off to the Emerald Isle, I sent out the first ever edition of our CheeseWeb Escapes Newsletter. I've been getting lots of questions about it, so I thought I would answer them for you here. I'll also let you take a look at our first issue so you can see if it's for you. You'll find a link to the first issue of CheeseWeb Escapes at the end of this post. What is CheeseWeb Escapes? If you haven't heard of CheeseWeb Escapes, it's our new, monthly(ish) newsletter. Each month, we focus on one destination that is in, or easy to get to from, Belgium. These are places you can go for day-trips, weekend getaways or longer holidays. We've compiled some content from past CheeseWeb posts and lots of brand new content you won't find on the blog. We include sights to see, places to eat and sometimes even places to stay.  From time to time, we also include some special promotions exclusive to subscribers. I don't live in Belgium. Will it still be useful to me? You don't have to live in Belgium to find CheeseWeb Escapes useful. We'll try to balance Belgian destinations with other destinations in Europe. How is CheeseWeb Escapes different from any other travel guide? Rather than just listing places you could go, like many guidebooks and websites, every place in CheeseWeb Escapes is somewhere we have actually been and enjoyed. We all like getting recommendations from our friends, and we hope this is what CheeseWeb Escapes will be for you. I'm signed up to receive the blog posts by email. Do I automatically get CheeseWeb Escapes? When you sign up to receive blog posts via email you are asked what you would like to sign up for. You can choose the Monthly Newsletter or blog posts or both. Do I have to sign up for the blog posts to get the newsletter? Nope, you can choose either one or both. I thought I signed up for the Newsletter but I didn't get it, how come? First, check your spam folder. If you don't see CheeseWeb Escapes hiding out there, drop me an email and I can check to see if you're on the list and add you if you aren't. How much does it cost? CheeseWeb Escapes is totally free. From time to time we will offer special promotions from some of the businesses we recommend and we hope to offer our own products down the road as well. There will never be any obligation to buy anything and we'll never, ever sell your email details to anyone. We hate spam too! OK show me the newsletter! Our first CheeseWeb Escape was to Antwerp.
