As if overnight, spring has sprung in Belgium. We’ve had glorious sun for the past few days, workers are flocking to terraces at lunchtime and the city is awash with cherry blossoms. In fact, now would be good time to discover the Japanese Garden of Hasselt. It opens the 1st of April so hopefully the lovely weather will hold.
This morning I had the honour of speaking to the lovely ladies of the American Women’s Club of Antwerp about blogging for expats. I’d like to give a warm welcome to those of you who found your way here.

At the end of today’s presentation I shared a slideshow of some of my favourite photos I’ve taken here in Belgium. I think there was a bit of surprise at how much this little country has to offer. And believe me, I don’t feel as if I’ve seen a fraction of it yet! So in honour of spring, take advantage of the nice weather to get out and discover some of Belgium’s hidden gems!
